This Valentine’s Day Think Outside…

Posted by Master Pools Guild on Sat, Feb 13, 2016

Being active is going to be the easiest way to shake the guilt of having a glass of wine and chocolates later so spend some time on Valentine's Day outdoors and active.  Be adventurous and try a new activity.  Grab the love of your life or a group of friends and be active & outdoors.

Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

Hike:

Grab your favorite person and go for a hike exploring a new trail or two.  City dwellers take a nice long walk - bundle up if you need to and who says you can't reward yourself with a stop at that favorite coffee shop afterwards?

Under The Stars:

Wrap up and take a walk out under the stars.  Consider taking a thermos of your favorite warm, winter beverage along.  Invigorating!

Got Snow?:

Make the most of it with a snowball fight, snow angels or building a snow fort.  Have you seen the ones listed this winter on Airbnb?

Ice Skating:

Always includes hand holding and hot chocolate = romance :)

Hot Tub or Spa:

The ultimate winter activity to top off your active day is a soak in the hot tub.  Surrounded by snow or candlelight - Valentine perfection!

*As we were posting this article, weather forecasts in some areas for Valentine's Day weekend were not favorable for being outdoors - please use caution if you live in an area where winter weather is hazardous.                Wishing You A Very Happy Valentine's Day!
